Calendar of Events

February 22nd: Community Ash Wednesday Service, 7:00 p.m. at Cowan Fellowship Church.  Speaker: Rev. Rocky Whray.  Service marks the first day in the season of Lent - a 40-day period of fasting and reflection in preparation for Easter.

April 5th:  Community Maundy Thursday Service, 7:00 p.m. at St. Agnes' Episcopal Church.  Speaker: Rev. Phil Cleek.  Service recalls the Last Supper in the Upper Room in the Disciples.

April 6th:  Good Friday Stations of the Cross, 5:00 p.m.  Meet in front of First Church of the Nazarene.  Procession with a large wooden cross to recall the arrest, trial, crucifixion, and death of Jesus.

April 6th:  Good Friday Tenebrae Service, 7:00 p.m. at Cowan Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  A service to recall the passion of Jesus Christ.

April 8th:  Easter Sunrise Service, 6:30 a.m. at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery.  Speaker: The Rev'd Gene Wise.  A gathering to celebrate the Empty Tomb.
