July 26: Hamburger Supper at Goshen, 5 p.m.

The largest get-together in Williams Cove is the July 26th Hamburger Supper at Goshen!
Come over between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. for freshly grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, all the fixin's, sides, and homemade desserts.
There's no set price and donations are gladly accepted. All proceeds benefit the program of work for the local women's group.
Goshen is located at 1262 Williams Cove Rd. between Cowan and Winchester.

October 4: Day of St. Francis Blessing of the Animals, 5:30 p.m. at St. Agnes'

Weather permitting, St. Agnes' will hold a Day of St. Francis Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 4th, 5:30 p.m. on the church lawn. St. Agnes' is located at 105 East England St.
This will be a short prayer service and each pet owner will receive a St. Francis/St. Anthony pendant. We will also receive an offering to benefit Franklin County Animal Harbor.
We ask that all pets be on a leash or in a carrier and be under the safe control of their owners at all times.

November 1: Town-wide Chili Cook-off and Family Event, 5 p.m. at 1st Baptist

Bring your best recipe and wake up your taste buds! Cowan First Baptist Church will host an evening of family recreation on the front lawn of the church with a chili supper and cook-off contest.
Join us on Saturday, November 1st, between 5 and 7 p.m. Registration forms to enter the contest will posted closer to the date of the event.

November 23: Community Thanksgiving Service, 5:30 p.m. at Cowan Nazarene

"Come Ye Thankful People Come" to the Cowan Community Thanksgiving Service!
The service is planned for Sunday evening, November 23rd, 5:30 p.m. at Cowan First Church of the Nazarene. The speaker for the service will be Rev. L.Z. Johnson, and the host church will lead in music and song.

Mission House Ministries in Cowan is pleased to host The Table on Fridays from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Table is for anyone in the community to enjoy a pleasant meal in the fellowship of others. This ministry is also a great opportunity for any local congregation, Sunday school class, youth group, or auxiliary to serve the needs of others.
The Table is located in the upstairs area of The Mission House at 106 Rogers St. in Cowan.
